G7 at Genève Aéroport

In connection with the G7 Summit, Geneva Airport will implement adapted arrangements from 13 to 19 June 2026, designed to support the event while preserving the quality of passenger welcome.

Throughout this period, the airport will remain fully committed to ensuring the continuity of operations and supporting passengers in the best possible conditions throughout their journey.

Commercial flights are maintained. From 12 June, however, traffic disruptions are expected, particularly around the airport and at border crossing points. Passengers are invited to plan their journey in advance and to regularly check the practical information available on this page.

G7 at the Airport: Essential Information

 

  • From 13 to 19 June 2026, Geneva Airport will implement adapted arrangements in connection with the G7 Summit.

  • From 12 June, traffic restrictions are expected; please check road conditions on the G7.ge.ch website, particularly in relation to increased border controls. Passengers, visitors and anyone travelling to the airport are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time to reach the airport.

  • For general questions related to the G7 arrangements, the Canton of Geneva has set up a free hotline: 0800 902 456, available Monday to Friday, from 11:00 to 19:00.

  • The Panorama, Chef and North Area terraces will be closed from 14 to 18 June.

  • Commercial flights are maintained, although occasional adjustments may occur. Passengers are invited to check the information provided by their airline before travelling to the airport.

  • Information will be updated regularly to support passengers and visitors as effectively as possible.

From 12 June, traffic disruptions are expected in the Geneva region, particularly around the airport, in the city centre and at border crossing points, due to reinforced checks and access restrictions related to the G7 Summit.

Passengers and visitors are therefore advised to plan their journey in advance, check traffic conditions before departure and allow extra time to reach the airport.

Recommended arrival times at the airport remain unchanged: check‑in deadlines may vary depending on the airline, but as a general rule, passengers are advised to arrive at check‑in three hours before their flight’s departure.

Passengers are also invited to check the information provided by their airline before travelling to the airport.
